‘Shipwrecked’

A letter from the Amazon Queen Hippolyta to J'onn J'onzz, the Martian Manhunter:

'Son of Mars,

It pleases me to hear that you are recovering. Please forgive my guard Aella, the one who has wounded you, and accept her sword that she has offered to you for her debt. Aella has no ill will for you or your god Ares. These shores are not often visited by men from other worlds, and she sadly mistook you for a human.

My daughter speaks highly of you. Diana has traveled the world, learning of your Justice League. According to Diana, there is no doubt that we will know your honor here at Themyscira.

Sadly, your sailing vessel did not survive the storm. Diana and I pray that your memory and powers will return soon. Hera bless.'
